We are very excited to share that Tropic Editions has received support from the Ruth Foundation for the Arts as part of their 2025–2028 Core Grant cycle, alongside 168 other arts organizations across the country.

This $25 million investment in nation-wide arts infrastructure through organizations doing radical, creative work is unparalleled and could not come at a more critical time. We humbly send our mahalo to Ruth Foundation for the Arts for the opportunities and pathways this funding makes possible.

This grant cycle, applicants were asked: What knowledges can we unearth to reorganize how we think, work and be in this world? This question guides how we view our expanding, evolving network of ideas, methods, discourses, and direct relations to the tropics. Support like this gives us affirmation (and energy!) towards continuing to grow organizationally, produce more material and visual works, and nurture the artists we collaborate with in the years to come.
