While in New York for the NYABF, Tropic Editions is throwing a party – a publisher showcase – on Friday September 25th, highlighting our friends, collaborators, and extended Hawai‘i ‘ohana, many of whom live in the New York area. 

Thanks to our board member Ayaka, who manages Index spaces in Chinatown and Greenpoint, we are excited to invite you all to Index Greenpoint next Friday, September 25, 7-9PM.

Music by Vincent Bercasio (with us in spirit) sharing the various soundtracks we’ve produced over time, for projects like CAFE, Nake‘u Awai, and TUTUVI TUTUVI TUTUVI. We’ll have two separate projections, first, premiering our long-awaited TUTUVI TUTUVI TUTUVI short film, celebrating the legacy of artist and designer Colleen Kimura. Second, a reel of T.E. collaborative film projects: Tropic Zine Issue 2, Tropic Zine Issue 3, SPA, and more.

We have super-limited-edition merch from the one and only HAUBUSH including mesh jerseys, oversized mesh shorts, embroidered caps, and more. Plus refreshments and food.
